Today marks the one week point for me and my weight loss journey. So far, it's been going well. I can tell that I am getting back in shape. I did the treadmill today for another hour (burned 347 calories and walked 3.4 miles), but I am able to walk faster than before without feeling like I was going to keel over. This is really exciting to me. I feel like I am getting more and more toned, especially my back and legs.
I could be making that up, but hey, it's encouraging and motivating to see these changes taking place.
Plus, I lost ONE POUND! Although it's not a huge Biggest Loser type of weight loss--they usually lose like 10 pounds each week), it's a step in the right direction and I.am.thrilled.
It may take me longer than June 1 to get to my goal weight, but I will go as long as it takes.
David and I are changing our lives for the good by working out and that is SO encouraging and exciting. :)
Plus! I added a little weight loss ticker at the top of my blog. I know it looks like it's DOS or something, but hey, it works. Now you can see my weight loss go up or down accordingly. :)
I would love any encouragement, advice, or motivation you have. Have YOU lost weight? What worked for you? What didn't? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Go sister go!! Proud of you guys for changing your lifestyle! Work out before kiddos while you still have the time, ha! That is one thing I wish I would have done more of pre-babies. Stick with it and it WILL pay off. I cannot imagine that you need to lose 60lbs though, you would disappear!!!! Love you!!
